Yesterday, this clip of Al Roker singing during the local weather went viral and continued a long streak of disturbing Roker videos:
He wasn't always this way. Doesn't anyone remember the jolly weatherman who popped in and out of the show with ease? What happened to that guy?
It's like there isn't a day that goes by anymore where there isn't a Roker "incident" on "The Today Show." Roker has become some sort of crazy Barbie doll. There's a different version of him every day.
Crazy, maniacal Roker:
Laughing-at-other-people's-horrible-mistfortune Roker.
Haunting-my-dreams Roker:
This last one may be the most frightening of all. The first time I saw it, I felt a shiver down my spine, knowing that Roker would be waiting for me in my thoughts when I'd shut my eyes later that night. Awkward Desktops, one of my favorite blogs, has even made it a desktop background to freak out co-workers:
So, is Al Roker all right?
