I'm currently on vacation in Kalispell, Montana, and other than knowing that Glacier National Park is supposedly one of the most beautiful spots in the United States, the only other research I did was in the form of the 12 Men of Christmas starring Kristen Chenoweth. That's right---a Lifetime Christmas movie.
As the story goes, EJ Baxter (Chenoweth) takes a job in Kalispell, Mont., after her boss/fiance cheats on her. There, she meets like a buttload of hot dudes---hotter than anything she's ever seen in Manhattan. She falls in love with Grayson from "Cougar Town."
Upon doing further research, I discovered that this film was actually made in Canada---so it's not even actually in Kalispell. Also, people in Kalispell don't have Southern accents, and it's not a small town---it has a population of about 20,000 residents.
So, when you started reading this post, if you were guessing that you can learn nothing from a Lifetime movie, then you are pretty much right in your observations. I will just have to discover Kalispell for myself (sorry, K. Chen).
